I contacted the online/phone support option for completing an amendment to my already filed tax forms and they were so very helpful. The process was easy to complete, and the help was everything I needed. The two people that I talked to were very courteous and helpful. The person helping me with the amended form helped me look at everything I needed to get the corrections made and submitted. Thank You.

Turbotax Deluxe Product

In my opinion it is very buggy. I ran into problems that caused a large income item to be counted twice. I tried to delete the form that needed to be removed and the delete did not work, multiple tries. I ended up having to start over from the beginning with a new file to correct the problem. Many extra hours to fix a problem that just deleting the form would have fixed. If I got paid for the hours spent trying to correct the problem and start over from the beginning I would have been paid around $720.00. Other issues like when an error is found by the error scan, it displays a field to fill in without giving enough context as to what to enter. Next year I plan on using the tax product my older brother uses.

Gets the job done. But the interface is still clunky -- can't use the down keys to see what's at the bottom of most pages without having to use the scrollbar or mouse. Please fix.

Turbo Tax Problems

This is the worst experience I've had with Turbo Tax in all the years I've been using it. It crashed 4 times and I've had to reenter my information. Every time I got to the final review it crashed I'm still not sure if my efile has gone through. I've filed for an extension just in case.

Preparation of the returns was straightforward.
Filing went reasonably smoothly.
