The product is generally easy to use. I have used it for many years, and I keep coming back to it. This year I had one question that wasn't clear within TurboTax, but was easy to find on the IRS site. One minor irritant is that I have to file a state return in CA, but not in my current-home state, and every time I change the state refund box in the TurboTax banner row to CA, it keeps reverting to my current-home state. Please make it stick with my choice until I change it.

Start Early and Loosen the Stress

Turbo Tax is a great tool, but it's not for a novice tax preparer. This is a process that has to start on January 1st. I would even suggest TT online classes.
