TurboTax Does It Again!

It took several days, but everything got done cleanly. It was even easier than last year.
The only improvement would be a feature to compile charitable contributions and medical costs, which I did using Excel. But that might be asking too much from TurboTax...

Mysterious unfiling

I've used turbotax for probably 20+ years. It's been problem free up until my 2022 Return which I didn't find out about until 2025. I thought I had filed my return, I even have a confirmation email from Turbotax that my return was accepted. Now in 2025 the IRS is holding my refund saying I didn't file a return in 2022.

Turbo Tax is Great But Next Year...

I love using Turbo Tax and have been using it for years. My only concern now is that they will not support Windows 10 next year. I don't want to update my computer just for Turbo Tax and I'm not comfortable with the online versions. You need to reconsider supporting Windows 10. We understand any risks and should still have the choice to use Windows 10.

2025 Turbo Tax more difficult to complete

This years' version was more difficult to complete than I experienced in previous years. I thought when following the step by step option that it did not adequately direct me to complete the Federal forms, especially lines 4a and 4b. As a result, I was not able to finalize my return without getting expert help by contacting someone at Turbo Tax directly. It took me 3 times as long to complete this years' version than it has in the past several years.

The accuracy of Turbo Tax is questionable!

I don't know about the accuracy for this year's return. But for 2023, you miscalculated my underpayment penalty by over $300! IRS and FTB eventually refund my over payment.

I have used Turbo Tax for over 10 years and find it easy to use. You just answer their questions and be sure to keep saving the file as you go along.
