Turbo Tax Not As Clear and Concise As Years Past

For the last few years, I can tell that different writers have written Turbo Tax. For me, the text is not as helpful and clear, and tends to be too terse just when clarity is essential. I have not enjoyed using Turbo Tax for the past few years, and I wish you would acquire the quality writers you had five or more years ago.

I had a few issues with filing this year, but the written help aids and a phone call to talk to a human, English-speaking troubleshooter solved everything for me almost immediately.

Filing for the deceased - charge?

Although I was put through the process for a payment of $45 (?), because the return was for someone deceased, I will be mailing the federal and the 2- state returns.

Not Happy With State E-file Upcharge

Really simplifies tax filing, seems like a good piece of software, though it's a bit expensive. My main concern is e-filing the state return should be included with the price for buying the state return -- the $25 upcharge right when you're ready to file feels, um, coerced. Also, having problems with the interface with Intuit website, I tried to do the advance Turbotax subscription for next year and couldn't find it on Inuit website, then couldn't find it in Turbotax when I went back in there.

I would only ask that it be a CD

I don't like getting your product on line, it fails too often then I can't try again because the code has already been used!!!!! This would cause me to look at other products that still offer a CD!!!!!
