NOT LIKE IT USED TO BE

Downloaded a desktop copy of deluxe for individual 2024. Entered half of info then had to quit; saved When I tried to restart, I clicked on Turbo tax icon that I used to download and my half completed return was not there. Somehow directions for retrieving half done forms from internet were very confusing and required signing onto my account---none of this worked. Wound up starting a new return .--another 3 hrs wasted.
Also when trying to file electronically the wis efile pay by credit card was directed well past the federal filing instructions so had to pay WI ( if I could remember amount due) and then back up several screens to pay federal. TOO MUCH back and forth: confusing and a waste of time.

Responsive to suggestions.

Ask too many questions. Many times I know what to enter. But I love your responsiveness to questions and errors. I noticed a glitch in dealing with RDMs across several IRAs and had a great conversation with a tax rep. I logged on a few days later and lo and behold a new question was inserted in the IRA dialogue to address this issue.

hidden fees are too much

your fee strategy got me this year and I will not be using your product in the future. On top of the $45 you charged me for the software, you then charged me another $40 for my state software. To make matters worse you then charged me another $25 to e-file the state return. That's over $100. I will be using another software next year. I had been a loyal customer for over 10 years. That stops today

This year your program was not as user friendly as it used to be. First it collected so many private information for the benefit of Intuit before I was able to use the tax program or at least It was not easy to start using the program as usual
