Turbo tax is good.

Did not use live expert. Gave a 4 rating. Turbo tax is mostly very good but program has glitches. Even
though I figured most things out (needed son's help a couple of times), it seemed at times the issues could
have been easier to resolve, or just less confusing in the first place.

They make changes each year that can lead to easily made mistakes.
The numbers and info entered into the forms are printed too light

Great, but needs better support for college pmts

Long-time user, makes tax-filing easy. I wish they had better support/content for dealing with college payments and 1098-T forms, as I file for my kids separately as well and it's always confusing how to handle these forms.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I bought or sold investments

Changes to Investment Forms Disappointing

Long-time user. Changes to Investment Forms Disappointing. List of Investment Forms (previous year/entered) more difficult to scan for completeness. Unable to import many financial institution forms (1099DIV, 1099B). In some cases where credentials were entered directly in TurboTax (versus pop-up window), two observations. Those that worked, required verification of two CAPTCHA tile sequences before proceeding. Those that did not work, seemed to loop, with endless CAPTCHA tile sets presented (had to enter those manually).
