No distribution with no 1099-R from IRA

very good with exception on a 1099-R form that had no distribution for 2024. instructions were not clear.i had to change a zero for both distribution and taxable amount to .50 cents when there was NO distribution!

Turbo Tax is unnecessarily frustrating

Every year it seems you guys cannot get it right. Simple data on old taxes like last year tax owed should be automatically populated. One can't send only state tax for efile. Why? One can do both or just Fedeeral but not only the state. Called in after 1/2 hour trying to do such only to find that one sends BOTH and the progran will detect the previous Ferderal filing. Really? You can't make it so when filing the little blue box with the check can't be unchecked for Federal. You can't let people know to send both? You waste MY TIME and your employee's. I only use this program because of previous years.

Turbo Tax needs more work

Many times the step by step does not allow entry of figures, but I have to enter figures directly in the forms, which doesn't allow the confidence that I have the correct figures in the correct blocks. I am using the PC desktop version that was downloaded--2024. I think that if a step-by-step is offered, it should allow entry in ALL the boxes, not just some.

I have used Turbo Tax & it's predecessor software company for over 40 years. Very detailed & intuitive & easy to follow navigation tools. Excellent product.
