POOR SERVICE

Could not bring up 2023 return filed thru TaxTurbo. Had to buy Turbo Tax again, because the one I bought in Feb 2024 would not work. Tried to get Customer Service to respond but no luck. VERY FRUSTRATING> I do not know if I will file with Tax Turbo again

Not Happy

After many years of being easily able to, noI so this year trying to efile - it failed saying I needed to update. I updated. It said I was updated and repeated this over and over again. Eventually, I gave up and I had to paper file.
Then the State of MD file had a problem with Baltimore City entries.
I will have to consider another software for next year. I spent three times more hours this year.

Its Deductible change

I have used Turbo Tax for many years. I make a lot of charitable donations each year, amounting to hundreds of separate items. In Its Deductible, I used to be able to print out your entire list of estimated donation amount for various items, and then use that printout to easily find the correct donation deduction. This year, you seemed to have eliminated that ability, and required me to enter each item for every donation...meaning entering the same "men's dress shirt" over and over and over. You should bring back the ability to print out your entire Its Deductible list of donation amounts so I can just refer to the printout to get the correct donation deduction amount.

Procedure changes from last year

I've used TurboTax for many years but there were so many procedure changes this year that what I thought would be a relatively easy job turned into a too long and aggravating experience. If a few sentencs of explanation had been added before major changes from last year, it would have been much faster for me.

Trubo Tax problem

Have used Turbo Tax for many years. this year 2024 did not carry forward names and Fed ID for companies on schedule B. This was a very good CHECK to make sure I included (or Deleted) names etc. if 1099 info not received. Would like to see this fixed for 2025 or may need to use some other software

Turbo Tax is wrong on PA state taxes

The Federal Tax was fine, The PA state tax return I could no file because all social security and retirement income (1099-R) is tax exempt in Pennsylvania. But Turbo Tax does not know this for PA and tried to add our 1099-Rs into our PA tax.
