In 2024 I used Turbo Tax and had to download. For the first time it did not keep any of my tax information. Always was convenient to transfer information. I have used Turbo Tax for over 10 years and the only time I didn't have a CD

Why no 8606

I have used turbo tax for years. I am disappointed that this year it did not use my revised (in Turbo tax 2023) 2023 return to incorporate an 8606 into my return this year. I had to try to do it myself and a warning popped up that said the numbers were looking odd?! Why

I don't like the changes made for inputting interest income, dividends. It was much cleaner, easier and less confusing - on your prior Turbo Tax versions.............

Call Experts more than once to get the right info

The version this year has some technology/programming issues. Certain flows do not work the way they should. Particularly when trying to move from one sub-tab to another within the larger tabs. Additionally, had a supposed TurboTax expert tell me I should file single to avoid a penalty, even though I got married this past year. Thankfully I called back and got a better person. Not cool.

Desktop Version Missing Scan / PDF Features

Disappointed!
I couldn't Scan or use PDF versions of some tax statements on the desktop version of software. I read in forums it may have been an option via the online software, BUT I had already made my purchase and didn't want to change course mid stream. The look up / download service was not available from many of my statement institutions so not having this feature did negatively impact my experience. Other than that software seemed intuitive and easy to follow.
