Turbo Tax has changed, it is not as easy.

Turbo Tax tries to download their own software even when you bought it somewhere else. Very frustrating and confusing.

A great help with only a few glitches.

In the federal return, there was a number entry box that didn't work. It was in the automobile registration fees and ad velorum taxes, that couldn't be separated, or one of them didn't work. I had to enter the sum of fee and taxes, even though the instructions said to separate them. (I'm using Brave browser on Win-10.)
The state processing seemed a bit sloppy. At one point the refund was not the tax withheld minus tax owed. It was simply the total tax withheld. Also, it asked some questions that I thought it should know, and I didn't know.
And why does it cost more to e-file? The processing should be cheaper for the state.

Turbo Tax is a Great Relief for us older people.

I have been using Turbo Tax for last 15 years, but this year was little bit difficult.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I bought or sold investments

It's hard to understand your wording especially the error message. It tells you you missed certain line item but hard to find which form or worksheet it's related to. You should have more explanation with your error messages. 2024 version is very hard to use based on many users I knew.

We have been using this tax program for as long as it has been around. It is the most helpful, thorough, and well organized program. We have never had any returns denied by the IRS.

Trust issue

Had an issue with a trust.
Went to my family's accountant for answer.
Could not get help on Turbo Tax unless I paid for it.
Help topics not helpful.
Good product for straight forward taxes.
