TURBOTAX Redundacy

TURBO TAX asks same questions year after year like date of death of an IRA account. I have to spend time relooking that date up as well as when this person was born. This is information that does not change year to year.

Easy to use!

It was very easy to use. Just wish at end had showed picture of back of license for the number. Instead, I had to go to another site to find out the right number.

Not able to delete a form.

I did not have any Qualified Business Income and yet form 8995 appears on my return. I am not able to delete it. I have looked into all possible triggers that would generate the form and there is nothing there.

Not up to par for 2024 & a lot of upsell marketing

Had a terrible time with Turbo Tax this year. For starters, all of a sudden there is a $25 fee for filing your state return? Then, apparently, they made it REALLY hard to go back and print the State return to mail -- took me forever. Seems like everything this year is a ploy to get you to buy add-ons. My taxes should not have been that difficult. I'll be looking at other options next year.

Tax Filing is Super Easy with Turbo Tax!

Turbo tax is very easy to use and walks you through each step. No additional advice was needed. Importing last year's info for comparison and then importing this year's W-2 makes tax filing a breeze.
