Add an automatic save feature

The tax return I was working on didn't save automatically. So, when I went back to finish it a few days later I had to start from the beginning. The instructions about going to my TurboTax Online account didn't match what I was seeing on the screen. It was frustrating.

Turbo Tax is not what it used to be.

Certainly make it hard to redo a return that was rejected by the FEDS. The prompt to fix return was worthless. The State tax return was impossible to re enter and fix, had to redo the whole thing. Couldn't electronically refile state after paying you to do it and was charged for it. Will not be using Turbo Tax next year.

Turbo Tax is less than awesome

TurboTax does not give sufficient info about problems/errors and does not bring up the relevant page/document name in sufficient detail for dealing with it. If my audit probability wasn't so low, I would switch to a real live in-person tax advisor/accountant despite the considerable additional cost.

I have used TurboTax for many years, but the last few years TurboTax has not provided the level of guidance that they did even maybe 5 years ago. It is disappointing which is why I can only give 4 stars. I guess because they want me to pay for help.

My husband and I would do the return together. He passed away this year and I was on my own this time. It was pretty simple and easy to understand.
