Turbotax needs a better programmer.

The Turbotax program was quite lacking this year. Several times the screen did NOT update the numbers and so displayed incorrect numbers. I do NOT have the confidence in the program's accuracy that I used to have. Example: when preparing my federal estimates for next year, I selected to round to 100$. The value presented was NOT rounded to 100$. I went back and selected round to 100$ again and again the value presented was NOT rounded to 100$. Then I left that area and when I came back later it presented the correct value. Things like this happened several times throughout the program. HOW DO I KNOW IF YOUR CALCULATIONS ARE CORRECT OR NOT??? Please be more careful in your programming!

Fairly easy except for 1099 B

For second year in a row, import of 1099-B generated "needs review" errors for every entry. Could not correct. Had to delete and manually enter. Otherwise, pretty easy and painless.

Harder to use

Definitely not as easy to use as in prior years. Long-time errors in the program have not been corrected.

OK it's TTaz

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and I usually have no difficulties. This year it TTAX seemed a bit more difficult to navigate - especially when trying to get started with my returns. I do 3 sets of returns - mine, my daughters and my sisters - the difficulty I has was getting my sister's return launched. This is why I gave a 3-star rating. Otherwise TTAX performed well.

I would have given 5 starts had it not been for some of the questions that were a little confusing and needing more explanation. I have used Turbo Tax for years and will continue to do so.
I would recommend Turbo tax as it simplifies the process of doing a tax return.

Product is good but expensive

Turbo Tax is good to use when you can't use the IRS free form. The categories are good but once you complete one you need to scroll down to the next one which is a pain.
