Not as good as in the past

Better than doing it manually, but not as good as before. Several areas are confusing. And the software crashed for my partner after he entered a lot of information and had to re-enter it all.

Turbo tax helped me file income tax with ease.

Was able to complete my 2024 income tax filing this year altho i lost my spouse. But turbo tax helped me complete filing ok.

Incompatibility with past returns is an issue.

The product is good, but the interface between online and desktop programs is poor. I used TurboTax 2023 online last year and the desktop program for 2024. In spite of many hours of searching for the solution, I never did figure out how to link the two programs so that 2023 information could be used to assist the 2024 return. TurboTax's directions were unclear, resulting at first in importing a 2023 zip file that had no content and eventually the 2023 tax files that the 2024 program would not recognize.

Very good product--except that it doesn't save/import drivers license information from previous year's tax return. It's a pain to reenter the info when it could be easily carried over.
