I do like using Turbo Tax. However, I don't like the new format. I liked it better where you entered a person and entered all their information regarding wages, interest, dividends, etc. then going to the next tax payer. I found the new format confusing.

Foreign tax credit issue hasn't been fixed.

Foreign tax credit for multiple countries per statement hasn't been fixed for several years. Also, NJ 1040-line 20b is calculated incorrectly this year 2024. The provided solutions are unacceptable.

Problematic deleting an interest account item/name

The program is at times impossible to edit. I wanted to delete an interest account name from the provious year and it would not allow me to delete it causing problems when going to do my final filing. Also it is evident that you don't want to provide any baseline support as there is no phone number provided anywhere if user has a question such as mine with the deletion problem/

TurboTax is OK

I have used TurboTax for years. lt seems that frequently their effort to make it simpler just ends up complicating things with more questions. Sometimes it will lead you in a circle when you ask for help. Some fields will appear to be highlighted but when you click continue it tells you to select an option.

best ever tax software, very user friendly. I have been using it since1998 and never had any problems. I tried using other software to compare but always came back to Turbotax.
