TurboTax is AWESOME in true sense

In my pre computer days I used to be a tax preparer, using a pencil and an eraser helping clients fill their returns and as a preparer our night mare was when clients would bring thier additional receipts at the last minute so had to go back to the clients return, erase the applicable boxes and RE-DO the math. Sounds easy but brelive me it was a real nightmare. Once the computerization was introduced and Turbo Tax became a God Sent event.

Too Many Verifications

Too often it asks to have an answer verified, or a form reviewed. On a 1099-B I was forced to review 89 items, when only 37 had legitimate issues.

needs more tweaking. some difficult loops.

TT is getting worse. Found myself in several loops that i had trouble getting out of.. Not sure why so expensive to send form electronically for the same state given I paid for the state and I fill out for several members of my family. same state. Why does my nickname on this form required to be unique????

Frustrating use

Dissapointed in the product and use this year. Been using Turbo tax for manay years, this year was the most difficukt and frustrating process. Asking for me to send picture of my id to help unlock account is beyond unreasonable. I may not be returning to use your product next year.

TurboTax - Pretty Solid!

Overall all product pretty complete. Software upgrade on 4/7/25 was required before I was able to submit my final return online which was a bit frustrating. Fortunately, I didn't wait until the very last minute to fie. It didn't change anything from what I could tell. I'm dissapointed that ONE state filing is no longer included in the federal purchase like the old days!:). I wish more investing related insights were included in the Deluxe version as well. Overall, TurboTax continues to be solid tool for filing DIY taxes every year.
