TurboTax is NOT awesome

TurboTax is not user friendly. It does not import data on the first go so I almost filed incorrectly. I had to go back to the same page multiple times for it to update information that I changed. 1/10 would not recommend.

The Search/Digital Assistant is useless. I'd expect it to be able to do more than equivalent of a word search by now. I had to use a browser for all of my questions.

Nasty new $40 fee to get refund.

I used to like this software, but it's hard to get around having to pay $40 for processing a refund. I did that for the federal by forcing the refund to go to next year, but couldn't see a way to do that for the state.

TurboTax should be named Slo-Mo tax

TurboTax application is slow and outdated. Artificial Intelligence will replace TurboTax interface. This TurboTax application cannot figure out whether a married couple should file jointly or separately, the user must go through creation of 2 separate files to compare. When trying to select filing mail vs e-file, the system creates multiple files and does not clearly indicate the most current tax file name and causes confusion.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I bought or sold investments
