TurboTax - worked as expected with a couple nits.

2024 TurboTax Deluxe - Desktop worked as usual. I did have a couple nits:
- The software didn't catch that I missed entering Federal taxes from the 1099-R form, it didn't even enquire about it. I caught it myself which dropped taxes owed by over $10K.
- I find it odd that Schedule A was not a required form in the packet of forms prepared and saved. My State's online tax submittal requires a value from Schedule A which meant I had to come back into TurboTax, find and pull up the form and save it off. Schedule A was included last year.
- I find it annoying that I specifically selected the radio button not to submit my State taxes, and then when I revisited that screen, the radio button to submit my state taxes was enabled. No means no, folks. ;-)

I've used Turbo Tax for more than a decade. This year I wasn't able to buy a disk but bought it online. I didn't have any problem downloading it. One of the things I really like about this program is that it forwards all of my information from previous years. I've always enjoyed doing my taxes and Turbo Tax is one of the reasons why.

This is my 8th year to use Turbo Tax Deluxe-Desktop product. I do believe that it improves every year. I will continue to use this product in the future. Easy to use, reliable in calculations and risk free.

Format for Interest and Dividend Poorly Designed

I have enjoyed Turbo Tax for many years, however, the new format in the 2024 return year for interest, dividends, etc was cumbersome, awkward and poorly designed. Please return to the previous format or something similar, or I will be looking for another tax software next year.

I would give you 5 Stars if you would change how you lead me through each topic. When I finish a topic, there should be a button to the next topic, instead of forcing me to scroll to the bottom of the screen to get to the next topic!
