I've been using Turbo Tax for nearly 20 years, and the product is not as good as it used to be. Explanations are not as well written, which makes me think that the vendor is trying to push people toward using the professional tax advice addon. It also drives me nuts that after filing my prior year's taxes and importing information for the current year's taxes, I still need to open and reference my prior year's taxes for information. This should be imported automatically. I will consider using a different product next year.

I filed report #1040 by myself for the first time using TurboTax. I learned a lot while filling it out. The program made it easy and guided me through everything. Really appreciate your service!

TurboTax Remains The Leader

Turbo Tax continues to be a great software for filing individual income taxes on average challenge returns. It is easy to use, provides great details when needed, and offers great customer service/tax assistance.
One thing I would like to see improved is the font size of the print in the informational boxes that open when you want more information/details about different items.

They keep making you pay more

It makes my life easier however you pay a lot for the program, then you have to pay to efile your state return, then you have to pay to get your refund
