I've been using it since it was MacinTax in the 90s. Nice step through process. My taxes are relatively easy - "How much did you make? Send it in."

Disappointing this year, unlike previous versions

I have used Turbo Tax for my taxes for years and years. This is the first year I was very disappointed in the version. It failed to walk me through all of the business expenses, and I had to enter them separately by clicking on the forms themselves. It also didn't offer to show me the difference between the standard deduction and itemized deductions. Again, I checked this manually and found I was very close to being better off using itemized deductions. Unless I am very much mistaken, Turbo Tax used to compare the two for you so you could make up your own mind. I miss this feature. There were a few other times where the program seemed to be glitching and I wound up restarting it a couple of times. I usually find Turbo Tax a very robust and easy to use software. I was disappointed this year.

Forced audit defense charge of $45

$45 dollar fee for audit defense was added even though I chose to not add it multiple times, and there was no way to remove the charge even if I started over again. I guess it's a glitch or a bug in their software that gains $45 to them. I might use H&R block next year.
