Hooray for Turbotax

I had to get help with 3 different Turbotax aids, but have high praise for each of them. Maybe because of my age (84) and lack of experience with the Turbotax current program I needed the assistance to complete this years taxes. Again, high praise for your workers.

Experience was relatively straight forward until I got to the state portion of the tax forms. It seemed to me, the way the questions were phrased and how the available help was presented, that it was a complete after thought. It felt the money spent was almost wasted (needed and liked having the tax forms in a cohesive product though). Previous years have been better in my opinion.

Long time customer - 20+ years. NEVER buying again!! Wouldn't load on main computer, had to load on my backup. after partially finishing, it crashed....repeatedly..."error"..deleted the installation - reloaded. (meanwhile my Turbotax 2022 still operated just fine) sill had same error on start. To get my taxes files, HAD to upgrade my main computer, load TT2024, pull in process files over on a flash drive and finish the job.
REPEAT: NEVER BUYING ANOTHER TURBOTAX PRODUCT....Having to download everything because you are too cheap to offer a CD with the purchase alone is worth not buying again.

Horrible experience

Turbo Tax Deluxe 2024 has horrible glitches. it's the first year that I had to reentered so many things over and over again hoping the information will stick and won't disappear. I also couldn't enter payment as the system kept saying that I failed to choose card type and expiration date (they have been entered!)

What Happened to Audit Defense-Tax Audit

Your "Audit Defense" packet for 2023 & 2024 shows that Tax Audit covers these tax years for only one (1) year after the filing of the tax returns. Up until 2022 the Tax Audit Certificate shows coverage for multiple years, based on the Statute of limitations imposed on the IRS for auditing tax returns. Am I missing something here or has Tax Audit been diminished from prior years.
