Bad UX experience

I experienced a significant issue with the TurboTax software update process this year. Unlike previous years, I received no update prompts until the very last stage of e-filing. This late discovery was jarring and the subsequent error message, simply stating "error," offered no guidance. The alternative suggestion to mail my 1040 manually completely undermined my reason for purchasing the software.
This seems like a release bug that severely impacts the user experience by delaying essential updates and providing uninformative error messages.

Been using Turbo Tax for over 20 years. The interaction between previous years taxes makes it very easy to complete and submit the return. However, this year I was disappointed in the fact there was a $40 fee for processing a refund though using a Refund Processing Service. If there was a choice to use this service or not, I missed it. After spending hours completing the return, I probably had mental fatigue. Hopefully in the future, Intuit Turbo Tax would make it VERY CLEAR whether to select this service or not. It was only after I submitted the return, I learned I did not need to use this service.
