Turbo Tax seems to have gone downhill in the past couple of years. I said I wouldn't purchase it again after last years problems with Oregon itemized/standard deduction debacle but time crunch had me once again using it. I question the reliability of accurate tax returns with this product. On another note, since I have to pay to file state taxes, I usually just print and mail them. TT seems to be making that more difficult, almost forcing you to purchase their efile option. Next year with be an accountant or H&R Block. Done with this software!

Turbo Tax download.

i struggled with the download, really liked the disk much better. Overall, I had some problems completing my return. I have used Turbo Tax for many years, may not use again/

Used to be great, now its full of bugs

The best part of this software is the ability to pull last year's data to make entry a lot easier and faster. I've used the product for at least the past ten years consecutively, this year was very challenging as the program is full of bugs. A lot of trouble generating a print out for filing state taxes, I was doing my daughter's return and she's getting a hundred bucks back, I'm not spending $25 to do that, so filing by paper. Wouldn't let me do it, kept insisting that I pay the 25 dollar extortion fee. I ended up having to do a workaround by saving to a PDF and printing it remotely. Wouldn't let me save the file without constant errors telling me I'm not an administrator on my computer (I am). Issues with saving and loading previously saved (after it errors out it appears at least to save). What a mess, this is 9 days before taxes are due I can't believe the bugs haven't been worked out by now. Reconsidering using this again next year.

Turbo Tax got the job done

TurboTax seems to be getting more and more glitchy over the years. Rejected returns with no explanation why (dependants had filed electronically earlier) This year, the Pennsylvania return kept circling back to the beginning time after time. I could not leave and return to my work without having to tab through all the steps I had already completed.
