Longtime user frustrated two years in a row

For the second year in a row I entered all of my information and attempted to transmit and a state update was required and when I updated the software I lost of my work. I have used TurboTax for going on 20 years but I am leaning against using TurboTax next year. There is either something wrong with the software or your directions are not clear

I've been using Turbotax for years now. Unless my income situation becomes more complicated than it is today, I'll continue on using Turbotax for the foreseeable future. It's a great tool that walks you through everything and helps provide explanations whenever needed.
