Lots of confusing things...Deduction comparison on Federal between 2023 and 2024...2023 did not add up. 2024 did, Having to re-enter routing and account # twice (for federal and state)...Just dumb. Home office deduction (I work from home and am W2 employee) showed as a deduction in 2023 but really was not...2024 displayed it correctly.

Good overall but has a few glitches.

I don't like how it asked me many times if I want audit protection. I had to hit back button and say no again. There is a glitch with this. Also wish the state e-file fee was free. In forms or step by step, it did not let me choose that I don't want to donate to a political party. It also did not let me choose that I want someone else in my family to be able to view and have access to my tax return. I saw no way to do that.

I've been using Turbo Tax deluxe for many many years and it has always been easy to follow and navigate. The user interface has been excellent. However, this year, I am not happy with the changes made to the form s used to enter interest and dividend income. Before, they were separate and easy to follow. This year, interest and dividends are on the same screen and you have to scroll through looking for the right ones to work on. I don't like that change. It was better the old way. When I click on the 1009-INT button, I expected to see the appropriate information, not a bunch of dividend related items to select from as well. It was confusing at first. I prefer the old method.

There was a glitches that need to be fixed prior to releasing. I think there needs to be more assurances that turbo tax is fully accurate.

The software is very user friendly. The only issue I have is that when there is something you respond no to it still takes thorough the process as if you state yes. The other issue I had it seems to ask a lot of similar questions in different sections.

I do not get it. I enter all information, pass the checks, and then when I go to file i have to enter so much more, information that I already entered. Just trying to file and now have to second guess due to what turbo crap is asking. talk about stress. I will not be using turbo crap again.
