Too many screwy errors this year.

Several issues with TurboTax 2024. Home mortgage worksheet is all screwed up. Did not receive a 1098 form from lender for loan on an RV motorhome. Worksheet continued to check YES for 1098 form. Tried a variety of ways to circumvent, but TurboTax not cooperate. When I went directly to Schedule A, QuickZoom would only go to the same stupid worksheet and would not allow me to enter info directly to the form - which would have been easier to do. Not using TurboTax next year.

WON'T IMPORT FROM THE APP

Don't buy this if you use the app as the information even after signing in won't transfer. The app is much more user friendly and gives me an idea of about how long things will take to complete, but not this outdated look a like. Maybe I did something wrong and maybe that is just the difference between buying a download version and using the website that they can't or won't fix.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I moved, I bought or sold investments

If its not broke don't make it worse

online and app suck. had to buy a PC and download deluxe, which had all the traditional features and format that use to be available online. Online and app didn't recognize the 1099-R's i imported had the rollover code that was correct as I viewed on the app and online. it thought i had 2 huge taxable withdrawals. No problem with Download Deluxe.

Trouble entering 1099-S form.

Most things are straight forward and easy to enter. However, there are 2 items that are unnessiarly complicated and difficult: 1) 1099-misc statements for a simple royalty check jumps off and TurboTax wants to fill out about 10 pages of Schedule-C which is mostly blank. 2) 1099-S there is no easy way to enter this from and TurboTax wants to convert this to a 1099-B -- I hope that the IRS does not ding me for this. If the IRS dings me for this this will be the last year I use TurboTax.

Horrible!!!
Interface changes and data entry changes to forms: 1099-INT, 1099-DIV and 1099-B make the data entry almost UNUSABLE. GO BACK to the interface you've had for any of the previous years.
I have been Turbo Tax user for 20+ years and this will be my last year. Clumsy, unusable interface!!!!!!!!
