Many issues this year: 1. I lost all my data when TT wanted to "update" before the final filing. 2. Wouldn't take my CC information stating "we are having trouble processing your card", but six charges are pending on my bank statement. 3. next year they are no longer going to support Windows 10
Pros: I moved

Turbo Tax is awful!

Turbo Tax is awful. I got all done with my state return, intending to e-file, and there is no place to put my credit card info, so I got an error message saying there is a problem and I was not able to pay the fee to e-file my return. I spoke with someone there for over an hour, and we were unable to resolve the problem. So, I am filing by mail. What a hassle and a poor quality product.

Easy Peasy

My husband and I have been using Turbo Tax for many years now. We have pretty basic taxes to file so it just makes so much sense to save hundreds of dollars by filing them ourselves. The process is simple and quick. They even offer audit protection and chats with experts if you need it. We e-file our Federal and State taxes and have our refund checks direct deposited to our bank account. Easy peasy

Incomplete program

Did not review any entries of the MN property tax refund form M1PR. Form needed to be edited separately, not as part of the property tax refund section. Also, this year's refund is 1/3 of last year's, and the program calculated that I owe state taxes, which I've never had in the 25 years I've lived here. These two items makes me think there's a problem with the program of not transferring data correctly or not opening the correct forms. I'm going to run my data through another program to see if results match or not. I may need to refile...

It was a bit overwhelming without the CD, but I managed to figure it out.
