Turbo Tax is the best

TurboTax was usable but needs some improvements.

Not as good as last year, 2023. DIfficult to manage multiple, identically-titled, electronically-retrieved forms from different accounts with the same brokerage. This was especially bad when correcting errors identified by the review stage. In 1099-DIV forms with foreign dividends reported, the foreign source amount of the dividend was not transferred from the electronically-retrieved form to the Intuit tax return. This triggered errors on review.

Good but LOTS of bugs this year.

Ran into a lot of bugs this year with the MAC version. Such as: When you want to edit an investment (1099B) It will only let you edit the amounts, nothing else. You have to delete and start over. The "Back" button doesn't work on a lot of screens. It takes you back to beginning - Step 1. Does not show last years amounts on the screen after a while - you have to restart to see them. You have to click on your tax file in finder in order to bring up your return. Clicking on the program icon brings up a new return. You can no longer print just your return. You have to manually select each page (which you cannot see) so you have to download a pdf copy 1st, then select pages. Real pain.
