TurboTax is Helpfull but requires more pretesting.

My 2024 TurboTax Desktop Windows 10 had two software problems. Between them, it took more than four hours for telephone support to resolve them.
Problem #1. I restored my 2023 TT file to start 2024. When I completed Federal, I discovered TT contributed $3 from each of us to the presidential campaign, I could not find a way to eliminate that cointribution.
Problem #2. I completed my Federal and California returns and passed the Smart audits, but when I tried to transmit the California file, I received an error on line 76, invalid entry. But there was no entry. I did not opt for Child Support.
Support was helpfull, but these problems should be detected earlier than 4 months after delivery.

Audit Defense stopped my e-filing!

At the end of the tax process, I realized that Audit Defense was offered for free, so I clicked on it. I had never seen that before. But, once I tried to e-file, my return wouldn't work. What? I've never had that happen before. No matter what I tried, it showed that same error message, "Your Registration Didn't Go Through". Registration for what, I asked myself? It was only after I removed Audit Defense that my return worked. Intuit owes me two hours of work! Don't click on it!!
