State return could be better

On Wisconsin State return, the inclusion of medical insurance premiums paid needs to be made more obvious if a person is retired, i.e. retired. Almost missed this important deduction.

Broken on Windows 11

Windows 11 installs are just plain broken. Tried four times to get it to install with no luck. Had to clean out a lot of garbage files that the installer left in %tempt% just to get any of the installs to work. Each time after an install was greeted with the same message: We've hit a snag activating your product. This is on a clean, new Windows 11 installation that was up to date. Had to go back to Windows 10 to get it to work. Judging by what I read online, I'm not the only one with this problem. This company charged me almost $200 in software and fees for the 'privilege' of doing my taxes for me, and I had to sort out their garbage software for an hour. The Windows 10 installation took four tries to find my Intuit account.

After completing my Federal & State returns, Turbo Tax would not let me file them. I am very disappointed.

Taxes done but annoyances along the way

Couldn't use early enough to do end of year planning - I bought early for that specific purpose which means I paid more for the program than I would have had to later. Don't need a used car salesman while doing my taxes. Let me opt out of all your sales stuff then maybe offer again just before completion. Procedure for entering income from banks, brokers, etc is a pain. Ask once if I want to download then go to the old entry format which was clean and simple.
