Lacks info on College 529 plans

Information on Student 529 plans was lacking. Lots of problems with transmitting the final tax returns. Surprise charges for state tax return. Lots of pressure to buy additional "help" that I did not need.

Needs a serious overhaul

1. TT never remembers that I filed using it last year. I have to help it hunt through my directories for the file so that it can include the pertinent data, even though it hasn't moved. Also, in-spite of the fact that I have imported last year's data, you don't bother to pre-fill my registration information, on the off chance that it might be the same as last year.
2. TT never remembers my bank account information, even though I know Intuit has it on file and associated with the TurboTax product. Plus, I have to enter it THREE times just to file my return. Seriously?
3. TT continually tries to up-sell me on other products and services, all throughout each session with the product, even when I indicated 'no-thanks' the last time I opened up the same return. I suppose that one reminder that you offer all of these things, the first time the product loads up for the year, would be tolerable. You do realize, however, (and I know you do) how insulting this is. And I do mean insulting. An insult is a pre-meditated offense. That is what your marketing efforts, inside an already paid-for product, are. Are you really so hard-up for revenue?
4. This version of TT, and really the last several, opens with no memory of the fact that it was used to create a tax return. It opens with a new, blank, untitled return, every time. Sometime in the past it would open up and load the last return prepared with it, which in almost all cases, is the only return that it will be used to prepare.
5. It would be nice, especially now that you require an Intuit account to use the software I paid for to run on a standalone machine (i.e. - not the cloud), to acknowledge the many years I have used TT to prepare my taxes. In my case, I have used it every single year since you first released it in 1984.
6. The UI is very very dated.
7. The points I have made reveal the level of disdain you have for your customers. We obviously exist to serve you, not the other way around.
