Basic deduction information needed

Turbo Tax App is Complicated Sometimes

I've been using Turbo Tax for many years now. I should consider myself an expert now, but I still feel like a rookie. Every year I always encounter issues with new added features. Turbo Tax should at least provide new revisions and/or added forms or features advisement. This year in the state section of the form, I've encountered this feature regarding Fair Market Value just because of the mortgage interest, form 1098, we received. It didn't provide any explanation. I think the Deductible Home Mortgage Interest worksheet is new and there's no section where you can review the entries unless you access the forms used.

I had trouble downloading the file. Heidi worked with me for over an hour and a half getting the problem fixed. Thanks to her knowledge and unbelievable patience, the problem was fixed, I filed my taxes, and all is right with the world, again. Heidi was remarkable in that she was able to calm down a very anxious, and if I'm being completely honest, rude when this senior citizen called for help. She was so professional and calm!! She deserves a raise!!

Great for guiding you through all you need to file. Turbo Tax is great if you have all your paperwork at time of working through it. If you have to go back and correct figures it is challenging and leads to misplaced field data. I have used Turbo tax for about 20 years!
