e-file filing method bias, no MFJ v MFS analysis

The turbo tax software is positively dismal when it comes to a situation where you must file in two states due to income earned in one state while residing in another. By state law you must mail in your tax return, as e-file is not allowed but the software tries its hardest to prevent you from meeting this requirement. Clearly there is financial gain to Intuit in having people use the e-file method, otherwise it wouldn't be so convoluted to use the mail in method. Even the top cover printout says 'no need to sign your return you filed electronically', but I didn't, because the tax law does not afford me this option. Poor execution! Additionally, the software should be intelligent enough to differentiate when it is beneficial to file as married filing jointly and when it benefits to file married filing separately and provide you both financial summaries to facilitate which option benefits you the most. As a 20 plus year user of the turbotax software, this is low hanging fruit for correction and improvement.

2024 product did not preload 2023 product. disappointed i had to manually enter "aa" my demographics etc. first time this has happened in 15 years of use. WHY???

STILL FRUSTRATING.

It's still a frustrating process, every single year. That's probably why I waited until 4/03/2025 to start today's return. PLUS, last year I paid Turbo Tax TWICE, but no one there noticed that, not did I get a refund or the opportunity the get this year's charges waived. That was a little disappointing.
