Required a second state

Worked well in accepting the data I input and processing my returns. The only issue that I encountered thi year was on review. The system insisted I enter a second state for each revenue input. I simply used the first state a second time (with a 0 dollar) to keep the review going.

Love Turbo Tax

I've been using Turbo tax since 2013. It is cost effective. It is easy to followed the guided pathway through the process. I also recommend the Audit defense; I used it once and they were great.

Confusing entries

This year, I had to file 2 state taxes because of a move. It was confusing as how to enter credits and income from the first state return completed. I had to file it first to get the actual state tax return to get the information for the second state return. In addition, it wasn't clear on how to enter or get credit for my housing allowance.
It's been frustrating as the last three years, I received notification from my state that my return has errors and I had to pay extra tax. I've been using TurboTax for several years but think I'll switch produces for 2025.

Not its usual good self

Not my usual experience with Turbo Tax. Normally it works smoothly, but this time the desktop Deluxe version would not download my state return. It two different bouts with customer support, totaling three hours and 15 minutes to get it working. Very disappointing.

After you gather all the pertinent information, the process is very good. Turbotax takes you through the process with explanations of what it is asking and it works great.
