TurboTax Has Really Declined

Having used TurboTax and then TurboTaxDeluxe yearly for probably 35 years now, this year has been the most frustrating for us. We have found it balky and unwieldy, often requiring that the user go through an entire topic, page-by-page, being forced to RE-fill fields that were previously filled in, as well as having to click buttons that previously had been clicked ... all to modify a *single item.*
Even worse, there is a page (possibly in the auto-expense portion for schedule C) that lacks a simple "BACK" button to allow the user to back up, requiring that one start from the very beginning of the *general* topic [i.e., "Income"} in order to get back to that previous page in the *individual* category. And woe betide the unfortunate soul who accidentally lands on that dreaded page without the "BACK" button a second time.
More than once, when TT wanted to 'check for updates,' it would (maybe?) do so, and then ask, "Do you want to restart TurboTax?" Answering "yes" apparently sent TurboTax into orbit around Jupiter or some such thing, because one eventually had to look for the icon on the desktop in order to restart, TT having evidently forgotten what it had intended to do. Perhaps it has in it some dog DNA: "Look! A squirrel! ...."
At another point we were invited to click on a highlight to see information about "Free Audit Support Guarantee," which took us to the web browser which promptly told us "Page not found," with a suggestion that we check our typing. A mouse-click doth not a 'typing' make. We never did find out about "Free Audit Support Guarantee."
As we were finishing and had entered a credit card number for Audit Defense, the program first told us that the credit card had not been accepted before changing its mind and reporting that it was accepted ... we hope.
And glitches like this were not on an early, 'pre-publication' version of TurboTax. This is at the beginning of April when ALL the bugs should be ironed out and the program should work almost flawlessly.
We have been very disappointed with TurboTax 2024, to the point where the wife was asking if there were any alternative programs we could use.

OKAY BUT NEED TO ADD QUESTIONS ON K-1 FORMS TO ALLOW FOR MARKING FINAL RETURN WITHOUT HAVING TO GO TO VIEW FORMS TO MARK THAT ITEM. Makes a big difference on the return.
