This Year's Filing, Not So Smooth

I filed using TurboTax last year after I had a spectacularly bad experience with another large commercial tax prep company that I had been using for years. That filing went fairly smoothly, I thought. This year I had noticeably more trouble using TurboTax. I had to re-do and re-check both my federal and state returns. Also, I did not receive as much of a state refund as I expected, and I couldn't tell why. Finally, I resented the TurboTax program's continual efforts to up-sell me a bunch of extras. Offer the extras once, yes. Offer them again and again, no.

i paid for a early season turbo tax deluxe and was still charged at the end for 65 dollars, so still was 100 dollars to do my taxes fully no deductible

Used to be great years ago, too many problems now

I've used Turbo Tax for a long time but I feel like it has become more difficult to use. The forms don't come up, then I have to go find them and manually bring them up. Its just too glitchy. We are seriously thinking of some other way next year. Its just not worth the hours and hassle.
Pros: My employment status changed this year
