My last year using TT. This tool gets much more irritating to use each generation. You seriously need some User Interface, Human Factors and just plain human designers.
The constant Updating evne when opening the previous year's version just to look at last year's return EXACTLY AS IT WAS THEN! Don't force me to update especially when you lie and say: "We recommend installing these updates", should say "REQUIRE".
The last version allowed me to skip importing even though we hadto put up with the sleazy sales pitch for the first 3 entries. Now we have to go through these extra steps FOR EVERY SINGLE 1099!
In the Income section, the various types (interest, dividends, etc.) each had a section and were compact so you could see many entries in one view. Now they are all lumped together and there is an absurd amout of white space so only 2 or 3 entries show per page. This results in lots of scrolling and no way to get a overall view, it reminds me of the original word processors with a 3 line display, so basically you have given us 1980's technology.
When entering a 1099-B, there is a field for "How did you receive this investment?", which has 5 choices. None ov which are appropriate for shares received as part of a spin-off.
I could go on and on.

Turbo Tax is Still worth it

I do not know what changed but it used to be a user friendly, and I struggled this time. I am not sure why, since I bought the program, why I am having to pay a processing fee. So I paid for the program and $40 on top of that, plus the State processing fee. That is not right

Will Continue To Use TurboTax for Years to Come

Installed TurboTax with a disc and passcode. Then, I entered all info as the program prompted. Turbo Tax did all the calculations. I like that I was able to print and mail in a copy, because I needed to include a letter of explanation that I couldn't do if I was forced to e-file, like some other companies require.
