Tubo tax is strictly for ordinary returns. Tax expert in Phx said they were too busy, and our return was complicated. We would have to see a CPA. Thank you for nothing.

Great with Some Issues

Overall, I like Turbo Tax. It's easy to use, and I like how it walks me through every step. I had an issue with it looping when I tried to download the state form. I had to call customer service and spend quite a bit of time on the phone. The first representative could not help me and said I would need to remove Turbo Tax and reinstall, which would have deleted all the information I had spent hours entering. Fortunately, the 2nd representative I talked to was able to help me and I completed the state form.
The other issue was with profit/loss from a business. It asked me questions I didn't really know the answer to, so more guidance on that would have helped, such as the correct code to use and whether it was a qualifying business. If the glitches can be worked out, that would be great!

Frustrating

It was very time consuming and frustrating. There are too many forms that don't apply to my situation. I have been using TurboTax for several years now and it has not gotten easier but harder to complete tax returns. On a fixed income, it is difficult to wade through all the forms. And then be rejected because of the last years AGI which TurboTax should have already.
