MISERABLE experience with this year's Turbo Tax!!!

I am VERY disappointed with Turbo Tax Desktop. I've used TT for years--This year was terrible. The problem was RMD. TT said I had a shortfall of over $4,000. I was eventually able to correct that, thanks to reading through pages of other people's frustration with RMD calculations. The key turned out to be clearing my data from 1099-R, clearing the computer cache, and starting over. That worked. No shortfall! Unfortunately, the answer came after HOURS of cross checking my information, on my assumption I had done something wrong with my calculations. WHY had you not checked the program enough to discover this bug (which you FINALLY corrected--apparently, in February)? Obviously I wasn't the only one. I've used TT for years. Will this be the last time??? Quite possible.

Easy to use
I found that the pricing isn't very honest. I end up paying more at the end of filing. I wish you would stop doing that.

TurboTax for 2024 does not work

TurboTax does not allow me to e-file my California State Taxes. It asks all the information needed to e-file my return but does not e-file it. So frustrating.

Clear sections on income, deductions and other tax situations. Prepares your taxes by asking questions and providing you with answers that are clear and easily available. Anyone can prepare their taxes using TurboTax. I've been using it for many years and will continue to use it.

Accessibility needs improvement

The print is too hard to read. We should be able to enlarge the print, especially when we open a box. I also want to be able to highlight it and have my computer read it to me.
