Worked fine

I discovered after I purchased TT that I could not use it on my AppelMac because it was an older operating system and I could not update. Also found out I could not run the TT Direct app on my iPad. wound up going out and purchasing Air. So, after 3 days of messing around with it I got it downloaded and it worked fine.

This product is great. You can do it all yourself or have the option to work with a Turbo Tax Professional.

I have used Turbo Tax for at least ten years. It is excellent, but the instructions leave something to be desired for people that are a) not numbers oriented and b) not comfortable with the security procedures.

Undisclosed extra charge for Refund processing

I have used Turbo Tax for over ten years and have been mostly pleased with its ease of application. However, this year, at the end of the procedure, ready to e-file I was confronted with a payment request of $40.00 to process my expected Federal Tax refund.
This was not disclosed as an extra charge on any of the wrapping that I could see. I am aware of the $20.00 State Filing requirement and accepted that.
I feel being duped and it will definitely influence my choice of tax return software for the next tax year.

Not tooo easy to work with

inputting the information was good. The paswordd-keychain was super confusing. Once I got to file it was a disaster with wanting to get updates etc. NO problems in the past but this year was a nightmare.

Harder than 2023

The 2024 version was much harder to work with than the 2023 version, specifically in the area of interest and dividends and estimated tax and application of refunds to 2025
