getting too fancy but still works

Desktop 2024 Deluxe version. Does help enter taxes. May allow forms beyond Deluxe version.
Fancier looking screens do not help. A couple of places had to read help and tax form instruction a few times to figure out what was meant. (do not recall, sorry)
Entering Mutiple 1099-INT and 1099-DIV forms had too many clicks when a fairly simple list would have been great. Confused me when simple interest and investments are lumped together.

No surprise costs, easy to enter-in the numbers

I've been using TurboTax for the past few years. Before, I had been using TaxAct for many years, and I was happy with TaxAct until the last time I used it, at the very end it started charging lots of money in surprise costs to complete filing my returns. Over $100 total from my memory. That disheartened me, and made me afraid to use that software again. With TurboTax, I've always felt I knew what I had purchased, and what the cost was up-front for additional things that I elected to purchase, so no surprises. TurboTax has always been easy to use; I've been happy with it every year.

Easy to use, but always charged for State E-file

Interface is simple and explanations are straightforward. Unfortunately, rated 3-stars as we have never been able to apply their "free" or "discounted" state tax. For the last 5 years, our family has not been able to apply the state e-file credit (neither the one free e-file or this year's $10 credit). Otherwise, would be 5 stars

Turbo Tax Still Rocks!!!

I have been using Turbo Tax since the beginning and will continue to use it until I no longer need to file taxes...which may be once I am no longer living. This is a great product and Turbo Tax has never let me down, even though doing taxes is about as fun as going to the dentist and often just as painful.
