Disappointed 20 year user

Product is less reliable, less robust, more convoluted, and basically much less user friendly than prior years. I have used TurboTax for the past 20 years and each year it gets a little more frustrating to use it.

very easy to use. guides you through the process and all the different deductions and credits available to you. They also make it so easy to file electonically. I should have went this way long ago.
Pros: My employment status changed this year

Has become less user friendly

I found the process less user friendly than in past years. For one thing, it used to signal that it was automatically saving your work periodically. Nothing like that this year. And getting hit with a possible $40 extra fee for e-filing at the end - outrageous! I had to look up what this was about and how to avoid. The whole experience has left me even more frustrated than just having to go through this yearly task makes me feel already!

Needed Brokerage Name in Import List
on April 1, 2025

One problem. When importing my stock information, the list had Apex Clearing, however it did not transfer all my data. I thought to type in Webull, and I got Webull Omnibus as a suggestion. This turned out to be the solution as it connected to me Webull account and I was able to import the data. I was at my wits end and stressed out when I finally figured this out. Please add "Webull Omnibus" to your prompt list for stock imports. Thank you. Otherwise, It was great.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I moved, I had a baby

I have been using TurboTax since it started in the '90's. Tried others side by side but Intuit products just worked.
