TuboTax is Awesome

I've been using TurboTax forever. I really like it. Straight forward. I did not like that it was a bit difficult to find the desktop app. The web-site seemed to want to start the return before I could purchase the desktop app. That was stressful. The other topic was that for a long time I struggled with form 1042-S. I even talked to support at TuboTax on the phone. The friendly man did not know how to enter 1042-S. We tried all kind of stuff. We then gave up. Later I found on the TurboTax web support page that I do not enter form 1042-S. I suggest that in the desktop app I can search for 1042-S and get that information.

Fairly straight forward, maintains prior tax info to carry over, checks for errors. When it came time to file it defaulted to charge $45 to file electronically if I were to pay with my federal refund. I was not obvious that the charge is dropped if I pay the state filing fee with a credit card.

Can't print the set of forms

Hard to maneuver around. Sometimes TT goes into a loop. Cannot print the forms with my new M4 MacBook Air.

TurboTax Does Most Things It Needs to Do

Everything went smoothly until I could not find a place to deduct the maintenance costs for my timeshare rental unit. I found the place to add my income from the rental but no where to record the rental unit costs.
