Thirty years and counting

We have been using TurboTax since the 1990s without any problems. Through many moves; in many states, some with, some without income tax; through various law changes, and even an unusual inheritance - TurboTax has always worked without a hitch.

TurboTax Too Intrusive

Turbotax has become far too intrusive. Now they require online registration at the Intuit website, and you must have an account. I despise this requirement, and won't do it again. Next year I will use H&R Block.

Not as Good as Previous Years' Products

This year's experience with Turbo Tax was nowhere near as good as previous years. I could not electronically import information from my brokerage account due to your selection method requirement. This caused a lot of confusion over what information was required and where to report it.

So-so

TT does not do well with college expenses. It is not at all clear about how to do this, what the tax rules are and how to input 1098-T information. The descriptions and categories for college expenses are wrong and do not match 529 rules. Finding educational expenses was very difficult on the program as well (it's buried)

Filing limit is unacceptable
