Mostly very easy to use; a few complaints

Mostly clear and easy to use. Two exceptions: (1) Input pages for Form K-1 are not usr-friendly: descriptions of what is to be entered do not consistently use the same terminology as on the IRD form, and the user must make off-line calculations rather than having them made by TurboTax. (2) During review/check for errors, when an error is reported, no instruction is given on how to find the place to correct the error. I eventually stumbled on the technique: click on the Forms icon, and the needed form appears. On the other hand, this year for the first time I allowed TurboTax to import data from my financial institutions, and the process was very convenient.

Good Tool

TurboTax is not perfect; do not just plug in the numbers and trust the answer. Go back with IRS Regulations and carefully examine what was done. I found a software error years ago that I had continually missed earlier. After TurboTax fixed the error, I was able to amend my prior three years of returns and recouped a nice chunk of change. However, there were many earlier years which could not be amended and I lost out big time.

Search tool is now a digital assitant!

This year, there is a digital assistant who pops up once you use the SEARCH tool. It is completely annoying as it cannot answer the most basic question: How do I check my filing status? Am I filing married, jointly? Yep, no answer. Instead it wants to start a new file, or find another file. Please, Intuit, keep the SEARCH tool separate from the digital assistant.
