Easy but needs a 1099-PATR as a Misc Option.

Easy to use. The only problem I have is we get a 1099-PATR for gas purchases at a Cenex Coop, this is not easy to do with Turbo Tax. Improve the software by adding that option under Other Income or something. Thanks!

I've used turbo tax for several years now and have found it to be very reliable and easy to use. The only aspect that is kind of annoying is that the updates take forever and the program does not give you the option to skip the updates at the time of reopening the program.

Learned My Lesson

Been using Turbo Tax since it was MacInTax in the late 80s. The first time it was on a little Mac Classic tiny B&W screen. As my needs increased, the program grew. I still believe it's the best Tax program in the market. This year, I failed to get the 2024 Delux CD, ran out of time, and instead used the online version. I was unable to do all the complicated navigation to complete the sections. I requested that Turbo Tax staff take over, and after a couple of weeks, I got a call that it could only be completed ty the software version of Delux. After getting it, found that without the CD, forms would not be accessed as easily. However, through the IRS website, I got the publications I needed and found which forms to access. I learned my lesson, only the CD version from now on.
