Turbo Tax Is Mediocre

Turbo Tax is a mediocre product. It offers little insight into tax calculations and only very basis information on how to complete tax documents. In some cases, understanding how to complete a form is near impossible. One example is the K-1. In other instances, correcting mistakes is impossible. For instance correcting a minor mistake with data from a 1099 Div form was impossible. I accidentally put in the wrong number for foreign dividends earned.

TurboTax has become much harder to use

The 2024 Turbo Tax was quite annoying to use. Error checks just supplied a place where a box needed to be filled in, but no guidance or link to that part of the tax forms or how to find out what to enter. Unclear why the omissions that were found in the errors were not addressed in the initial entries. Difficult to find help (e.g. search for "schedule C". Much worse than in prior years (I've used TT for over 10 years)
