Another Great Experience with Turbo Tax

I have been using Turbo Tax for years and continue to find it to be the best tax return program for filing Federal and State Taxes. Turbo Tax takes the dread out of Taxes!

TT has not only gone down, but fell off the cliff

The software has gotten progressively worse over the last few years. For instance, last year I entered 2023 return. Needed to do an amended return for two returns. Neither return could be found in the computer. Took several tries over several weeks to actually get live support. Ended up on a three way call as initial tech couldn't get into my computer. Every time I tried to re-enter the initial data to recreate the return, it kept deleting it and wouldn't save it. They finally found MY return but refused to locate my sister's even though it was done by me through my paid program. Now, I came to finish my 2024 and it wouldn't open the file. First, the "search for return" function just kept spinning and spinning and couldn't find either return. Rebooted computer, etc. It also makes me reregister the program EVERY TIME I GO TO OPEN IT which is extremely annoying. FINALLY got the program to open and, after SEVERAL attempts, manually found the return and, after several attempts, it finally opened in my computer. Who can work like this every year? I can't. Time to find new software that I can rely on.

Turbo Tax is Amazing

I didn't have to use a live agent. The thing I had problems with was the download of the program, it wouldn't go on my computer. I had to use another computer. I had so mush stress trying to get it to work and worried I would be out the 75$. The cost of the program is out of control. You need to fix that, people can't afford to have someone else to do there taxes.
Pros: My employment status changed this year
