Turbo Tax doees the job.

I am a rare individual that owns timberland and maintain a Form T (you don't file this with your return) that must be available is the return is subject to audit!. Ordinarily, the form T information is carried forward to a Form 8949 and to Schedule D. I have entered the Sale Amount - Depletion = Net Capital Gain as income and the resulting tax is liability is very similar!

Used TT for years with few issues.
No CD download was clunky. Updating errors wasted my time. Needs work.

I was able to pull up the download to complete these taxes on my Mac Computer, which is no simple task. Please continue keep your preparation process simple enough for the average person to be able to complete their taxes without having to pay an expert. KISS Rules should always apply.

Not recommended, too many bugs

Very frustrating to use due to software glitches. Stuck in endless loop in state tax interface. E-file interface would not accept correct driver's license issue and expiration dates. Not recommended.

Process was fine getting through. If there was more information/direction on states in place of or in addition to what the states give you. The software froze up when I submitted taxes to fed. and states. They went through but the software froze.
