Using it for decades

Life before turbo tax was an entire year of collecting hard copies and/or tax consultants that didn't know what they were doing. I don't hate taxes, I hate doing the taxes. Turbo Tax takes some of the work out of this.

Turbo Tax Getting Worse

Each year Intuit Turbo Tax becomes more complicated by not providing enough details about necessary entries. This year there is much confusion for state taxes requiring an ink signature. Turbo Tax tells me they will guide me to print the necessary form to mail to the state even though we are E-filing. There are always new nuisances each year. To me, this is a deteriorating application.

Turbo Tax is Great!

I've used Turbo Tax for 25+ years now and have always been satisfied with the experience! My tax situation is fairly straightforward so that helps so if yours is to give it a try you'll never pay someone to do you taxes again.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

You should be more transparent in your costing. You charged my $40 for each state filing and then $25 for e-filing each state.
